What is Reputation?

Reputation is a Mycelium project. Reputation is a blockchain data analysis platform. Our platform collects, decodes and visualises vital finance data from several blockchain networks so users of decentralized finance platforms (DeFi) will know who to trust in an otherwise anonymous world. We offer all of our data as a public good from our API and aim to become an open standard that is trusted, impartial and decentralized for DeFi.

The first application of Reputation is our Oracle Reputation product which is live at beta.reputation.link. An Oracle is a bridge between the real-world and on-chain smart contracts. Oracles are a source of data that smart contracts can rely on, and act upon. An Oracle is a data service provider. This product monitors, audits and ranks Oracles based on their performance. We will be releasing Repscores to this product shortly.

We are currently raising a venture capital seed round and transitioning to a Decentralized Autonomous Organisation (DAO). We will be hiring around 30 people over the next 12 months. This will enable us to apply Reputation to new use-cases. The big whale we are chasing is solving the reputation of individuals so we can unlock undercollateralized loans, executed on blockchain infrastructure on-chain. This is literally a trillion dollar industry. We are building a public good. The DAO will be managed and controlled by the community through governance tokens.
