Researcher

We are looking for a general purpose researcher to join our team who will be responsible for the exploration and innovation of a wide range of topics, as required by the Reputation team.

This is a very open ended role, with no limitation on the involvement and ownership available for you to take on. As such, there are exceptional opportunities for growth under the guidance of the Mycelium Research team. Areas of research can range from mathematics to philosophy to economics, with specific involvement in: the RepScore function, game theory, governance, reputation, and tokenomics.

This role will largely involve working on the Repscore. The whitepaper and litepaper for the Repscore model can be found here and here. This role will be responsible for developing the model and applying it to new use-cases. If you want the role, come to the interview with a deep understanding of the model and a critique for how it can be improved.

Requirements

• Must be capable and comfortable with extended periods of exploratory research with limited guidance.
• Must be a highly self-driven person.
• Must have innate curiosity, and passion for research.
• Strong ability to quickly learn unfamiliar topics.
• Strong ability to provide informed and thoughtful advice based upon knowledge gained.
